Market
Trade Pokemon and items with other players, in game or in a browser
The market is where players trade with each other. You can list a Pokémon or an item for sale, buy what somebody else listed, and put out a standing offer for something nobody has listed yet.
In the browser
The market has a web view at market.cobbletwo.com, which shows the same listings as the in game one.
It is the easier place to browse, because you can search and sort without standing at a block, and it updates live as listings appear and sell.
Two ways to buy
Buy a listing. Somebody has put a Pokémon or item up at a price. Pay it and it is yours.
Place an order. Describe what you want and what you will pay, and it fills automatically when somebody lists a match. Useful for the things that sell within seconds of appearing.
An order can filter on the species, on whether it is shiny, on a held item, and on a minimum IV total, so you can ask for something specific rather than the first one that shares a name.
