Selling Pokemon
Turn a Pokemon into money, and check the daily bounty first
You can sell a Pokémon for money. What it pays depends on the Pokémon, not on a flat rate per species.
What makes one worth more
The price goes up with:
- Level
- IVs and EVs, so a trained Pokémon is worth more than a wild one of the same species
- Rarity, with legendaries, mythicals and Ultra Beasts all worth more than an ordinary catch
- Shininess, which is the biggest single multiplier of the lot
- A hidden ability
The practical version: a level 100 shiny legendary with good IVs is worth a great deal, and a freshly caught level 5 wild Pokémon is worth very little.
The daily bounty
Every day you get a bounty species, and selling that species pays double.
You get one reroll a day if the species you were given is one you have no interest in hunting. Both the bounty and the reroll reset daily.
Check the bounty before you sell anything. Selling your stock the day before it becomes the bounty is the most common way to lose money here.
Prices move
The more of something the server sells, the less it pays. A species everyone is farming drops in value over time, and something nobody bothers with holds its price.
